Backdoor/SubSeven is an older Trojan Horse that does a port scan on machines.
As long as your firewall caught it that is the important thing. Now just ignore it.
I haven't seen that trojan in a long time. Can't believe people are still using it.
Basically someone is trying to get onto your machine and send files back and forth and steal passwords.
Here is what Symantec says about it... http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/backdoor.subseven.html

Mark-I got Norton Andi-virus and it checks all my outgoing Email for viruses. It seems to work very good. But what is a Firewall? Do I have that with Norton? If not, what is recommended as the best one to get? Thanks...al
