My son sent that to me who got it from a co-worker. Apparently it's from a 1954 Popular Mechanics Magazine

It looks like you can pull a curtain back and the Wizard of Oz will be at the controls.

 I'm replying via a World Wide Network, to a server 3000 miles away. I'm connected by a wireless home network, using a Laptop computer with 1 GB of RAM. They'd think I'm in 3004!

It looks more like the control panel in a ship or submarine for trim control, etc. than a computer.

Actually, I took that picture in April of 2003, as you can see from this topic. Nobody batted an eye then.

Neato, b0b... I,ve just spent some months figuring out how to retrieve a device context from a printer so's I can park a test report graph from a win32 data acquisition program to a printer page & print it to a HPLJ4. Petzold is cool, to bad Kruglinsky left us early.
