It doesn't matter what kind of computer you have. I use a hosting company (
http://www.readyhosting.com) Basically, they have a bunch of Web Servers. For $100/year you "rent" space on their servers. For that fee, they give you a domain name (in my case, they registered darkmagneto.com for myself) and then they give you unlimited email addresses. (for example;
john@darkmagneto.com or
sue@darkmagneto.com) As long as you know a little about HTML and building web pages, you can get a web site going.
If ANYONE is interested in website stuff I highly recommend going to
http://www.w3schools.com This is the company that sets up the regulations for the WWW and they have FREE online tutorials. This is how I start learning about different web languages. It is a great tool/website to keep bookmarked.
