Damir, sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my dad in 1982, when I was 22 years old. Not one day goes by that I don't miss him. And knowing what I found out about my dad, wish so much I could have shared in the transformation in him near the end, because I needed the same transformation.

The chaplain in me says to share this with you:

"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."
1 Peter 5:7

Please know I am praying for you and your family.

So sorry for your loss Damir, as Scott said not one day goes by that you don't think about them, as it has only been two years losing mine, and not a day has passed you don't reflect on something about them. Stay strong my friend, your family depends on it.

thank you so much my friends, my father passed away in 1992 after battling leukemia for a year, he was 49 year old, he was the best father one could wish for, Ante was my step dad, who has been around for over 20 years, and he was the best step dad one could wish for, I don't ever refer to him as a "step dad" but "dad", as he never called me anything but his son... I told to my sister, some kids don't even have one bad dad, and we were blessed to have two amazing ones... I have 9 year old who is my life, and the day doesn't passes by that I don't tell her how much I love her... she has few half brothers and sisters, all awesome kids, and they all get nothing but love, hugs and kisses from me..someday my day will come, and on that day, I don't want to have any regrets, on that day I would love to be able to look back, and see I did something good with my life, and that I will be missed... thank you again my friends, it really does mean a lot..and thank you to those who sent me private emails, telling me stories about their lives, and their fathers... I truly did enjoy reading it...thank you :(
