Luv that stuff! Thanks so much Scotty for letting Bill put the videos on the net, and for Bill being willing to take the time, so we can all enjoy them. What a powerful tool for advertising the steel guitar and it's great players.

When Jimmy and Russ would do their set, it was always one of the highlights of the ISGC for me.
There are a lot of excellent steel players but it is something special when two of them can play so tightly together...it is truly something to behold!

Bill,Scotty and Russ. Thank you for posting that clip. I've still got my "Chicken Pickin Good" Lp from a while back. It was and still is one of my few favorite albums.
But being able to see Russ and Jimmie live is really a treat. Great picking by both Players. Unreal.

Thanks so much, Bill and Scotty! Image It was fantastic to watch this "from out front". I was privileged to have been on stage at the time it was recorded, and I was so busy struggling to read my chart, because I was blown away by the sheer quality of these two legends!

Like Bruce, I too miss Jimmie a whole lot. I'm certainly glad to still have Russ as a friend - and God willing, long may that continue.

Wonderful, wonderful playing by both these great players, but stupendous solo work by Russ!

Kinda bittersweet--always love hearing Jimmie's wonderfully bent steel guitar point of view, and sad not be be able to call him late at night and tell him so...:(
