JD Walters CD

Post by Jerry Roller »

Well, tonight I've been working on a LeGrande III setup and listening to JD Walters CD. Man, what a great CD with a lot of old standards. Absolutely great!! Everyone who loves steel should have a copy of it.

Totally agree with you, Jerry. Smooth and expressive styling along with a great taste in his musical favorites. We were very happy he was pursuaded to put them on a CD.

From the looks of their web site, JD can be equally proud of the clan he's created.

JD's new CD is AWESOME!!!!!!!!
Even if for some reason you may not care for C6th . . . you will after hearing this one! This CD needs to be in every Western Swing fans library. Monster tone (incredible) on that Mullen, killer licks and touch.
JD you done good.

I seldom get excited about steel players any more; might have something to do with age?
But I honestly have to say that this man's
playing (on his CD) is some of the finest I've heard during my sixty years. His tasteful playing and great tone quality is absolutely without comparison. Truly a fine CD for anyone's collection and a joy to listen to...........no matter your mood at the moment.
Thanks JD Walters..........great performance.
