Post by Terry Wendt »

This may be a no-brainer... but can someone tell me who the steel player in this photo is?

His name is Rusty Danmyer, and he plays on the road with LeeAnn Womack. He is a great player from North Carolina, whose dad also was a great player.

He has played for her for at least five years, or so. She's had alot of band members change, but not Rusty. He plays on Lower Broad in Nashville, alot.

Hi Terry,

Good Idea. I fell for it too. Rusty is a friend of mine, so is John. I just subscribed for a year. Looking forward to receiving my copy. Enjoyed the last one. Thank you

Terry, I saw the cover of the second issue and it looks great. John Hughey is a buddy of mine. It is great to see Lee Ann Womack and Rusty Danmeyer in the artist/steel player profile. Brett Day, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel
