C6th: Western Swing instruction material

I have a video of Wally Moyers showing only one litlle Western Swing Blues. But the way he plays and the incredible groove he has blows my mind away!

Is there any other recommendable similar instruction material out ?

Can you also please list a few good examples of western or texas swing music (artists/ songtitles)that shows impressive
C6th work?

There's several western swing type things on Tab from Buddy! The solo from "Burnin' the Roadhouse Down" is killer. And "Farmboy Blues" can be swung, too.

For E9 there's the "Houston" intro and the intro to "Pick Me Up on Your Way Down".

Well here´s what I did... the only C6 instructional material I´ve had so far was Buddy Emmons´Basic C6; that´s excellent. Right after that, I grabbed Jimmy Day´s "Golden Steel Guitar Hits"; it´s not too difficult and there´s lots of western swing tunes on that album and I really tried to nail every lick he played and that tremendously helped me to understand the tuning. It´s still my favorite C6 album. After that, I tried to get into some of the stuff that Buddy Charleton played with the Texas Troubadours. Lots of swing tunes also, but a somewhat more complex style. Listen to Hank Thompson, you´ll find some very good examples there. He used various steel players and I´m not always sure who played what. Oh, and make sure to tune your first string to G.
