Looking for Ray Price Song.

Post by Johnny Stout »

I posted this on the "Music" Forum, but thought it might get a response from some of the steel players here.

I used to play a song back in the 80's by Ray Price. It wasn't one of his bigger hits, but one of the best country songs that he ever did. It was called, " Somewhere in Texas", or, Somewhere out in Texas". Not sure of the exact title, but one of those is pretty close. The intro started with "Faded Love", then the steel kicked it into a 4/4 time for the vocal.
If anyone has this song, or a source for it, I'll be willing to buy a copy of it, or even an mp3 or wav file if available.

Thanks.

Johnny, I have the original LP "Somewhere in Texas" by Ray Price on Dimension Records (from the mid 1980's) that I'd probably be willing to part with. Email me if your're interested.
