I worked with Billy last night at the Texas Theater in Waxahachie. First time in over 15 years. Man, all shuffles, swing. Great tunes. You ought to hear both of his albums. many tunes he wrote with Curt Ryle. He has Emmons on most of the cuts. He also put out a Christmas album last year that's killer.....

Buddy is strong on that first CD.

Steve Hinson is featured on 80% of the second one, and that's who Keeble seemed especially pleased with. He particularly complimented Steve's "mellow" tone.

It was sort of an anti-NCS tone. Steve, be proud.

I worked with Billy for about 5 months in 96. It was fun. He did all the classic country stuff. JD was the young fiddler that was in the band for a while. He had a good sound. (he worked Navada a while)It's a luxury to have a fiddle player that plays it right. I'm glad to see that Billy is staying with the old classic country sound.
