New Steel Guitar Magizine is out!
Terry Wendt did it! It's wonderful! Great Magazine, now lets all get behind this effort and show him how we appreciate it! If this mag isn't a success, it's not Terry's fault!
Quite griping guys, It's here!

I guess I shouldn't say this but, Brandy, the office maniger for "Steel Guitar Nashville" is in our ad and looks great, she is a friend of all you guys so be nice to her, I think she did a lot for,not only our ad, but the whole magazine. She'll have the first fold out in the "swimsuit" issue, (I'm doing the second one!!!! Doug Jernigan the third, rumored , nude, from the neck up!)

With a Name like "pedalsteel.US", I thought I might be able to catch up on who's dating who, what kind of clothes everybody was wearing to the conventions and jams... am I missing something?

I'm looking forward to getting my copy!
Good luck to Terry for taking on this monumental job! (It's a biggun')
One curious thing: This is the premiere issue. Volume 1, number 1. Isn't it kinda funny that Jerry Douglas is on the cover and not a pedal steel guitarist. Jerry is a world class dobro player, but it's called "pedalsteel.US". I'm not raggin', I just thought it was funny.

I noticed that when the web site was first up. I was waiting for someone else to say something about it and am really surprised it took this long.Isn't it kinda funny that Jerry Douglas is on the cover and not a pedal steel guitarist.

Not to slight our non-pedaler friends, but I agree that with pedal steel in the name, most if not all of the of the articles should be for and about pedal steel.

Yup, Jerry was a good choice for the cover, this way no steel player would be mad because "He/she" wasn't on it. I personally think an accordion player should have been on it, possibly a banjo in the back ground.Yup,It does look funny though, "Pedal Steel.US" and Jerry Douglas with a dobro, and no, he doesn't play steel.
What do you guys want to see on the cover next issue? A picture of the Ryman with Cowboy Jr.out front? How about a picture of the Nashville police ticketing musicians for stopping on Lower Broadway just to unload their gear at the clubs. How about a picture of Gary Morse with his hat off? A good guy and player. What do you guys want on the cover next issue? How about a group shot of all my ex-wives? (wide angle lens).Naw, most of you have better shots than I do of them.
