Del Mullen

Post by JB Arnold »

Has reportedly had another heart attack. What we are hearing here is that he is OK, in the hospital and out of danger enough that his kids are on the way down here to man the booth....more as I get it.

We definitely need to put him on our prayer list. He's a great builder and a super person also. May the Good Lord grant him comfort and a speedy recovery and be with Dixie and their entire family.

Fill me in on Del's situation. I have tried to email and call them and no answer. I did not know about his condition. Where is he?
Thanks for anything you can give me.

As of this afternoon Del is resting comfortably, they caught it real early, and he'll be making some radical changes to his diet....

I would first like to Thank everyone who has been concerned about me. I would like to Thank You for your thoughts and prayers. I couldn't have done it without all the help. I am happy to announce that I am going to make it. My heart-attack was mild and I escaped from surgery this time. I have to take it easy for a little bit, but I'll be back in no time at all. Thanks again for all the support, it helps.

Sincerely,

Del Mullen
[This message was edited by Del Mullen on 10 March 2003 at 10:23 AM.]

Del. I'm so glad to hear that you're alright. You build the best guitars I've ever played. My new one makes the third Mullen I've owned. Clearly the best guitar I've ever played on. Be sure and do what the doctor says because we need you around to build these guitars for us. We will keep you in our prayers.
Regards.

Delmer,
If your body type got you in trouble I am really in for it. We been by on I70 several times since I last saw you and did not stop. Glad it was not "the big one" I would have felt real bad. Maybe we had best slow down a little next time and drop by the farm.

and hey to Dixie
