Pedal Steel computer graphics

Hi everybody
I'm working a little with computergraphics, and one of my many planes, are to portrait some of the wellknown and famous PSG's. The one present pedal steel, was my own 84 LeGrande, so it became my first 'model' click here. I did it in various colours, and I'm not sure if they are all available Emmons colours.
I should like to hear what would be youre suggestions for my next 'models'?

Is this a great forum or what??? Last week I was looking for a pedal steel graphic and would have gladly settled for an outline or silhouette. In a matter of days there were loads of great drawings in my mailbox and on the site. And now look at this!!! Bruno, what a great job.

I you want suggestions, how about something for us U-12 guys? Maybe a Fessenden in blue mica (hint, hint, wink, wink)

But I've got to admit, I sure wouldn't mind seeing your rendition of one of those beautiful wooden Sho-Buds or a ZB! Or an old Fender Quad or maybe a Bigsby or how 'bout a Fry-pan Ricky or maybe... No matter what you do, I'm sure it will be a big hit!

Tried . . . hard, but couldn’t imagine that one – could you please send a picture of your guitar

If any of you have pictures of PSG’s, that should be in my gallery, I would appreciate if you could mail me a copy.
I need high resolution pics (800x600 pix or better, 72ppi) that shows the instrument at it’s finest. Small pictures, especially pictures optimised for use on the web, would be of no help. Does not contain enough details.
I need your help with this, as I live in a part of the world where pedal steels are almost as rare as penguins in a desert.

Your art work looks fine.
I just came home from the Frankfurt Musical Instrument Messe in Germany.
Saw many lap steels and a few pedal steels there.

Howdy Bruno!

Just browsing the forum and saw that you live in Svendborg...
Many years ago, the 80's, while living in Germany, Our little Country Band traveled all through that beautiful area up to Odense. We stopped at the train station in Svendborg and actually spent a couple of days in that area. What history.... and up in Odense we were able to visit the Hans Christian Andersen museum.

Our band played several small venues in Denmark and Sweden. We left Hamburg and went up through Denmark to Frederikshaven, ferried over to Gothenburg then went down to Malmo then through Copehagen to Odense. Odense was our last booking so we went down through Svendborg by train then on to the island to Bagenkop, we took the ferry from there all the way back to Kiel... What a Trip. It was sure beautiful, but I was glad when it was over.

Oh well, I'm off topic here so I'll back out.

Hi Bruno. Nice work! Did you do this in Maya, Softimage, Lightwave, 3DMax, Houdini?
Too realistic for Lightwave! I vote Maya or maybe Softimage.
It should have some more speculance and light effects on the mica front also. There's a bit on the top. but nice modeling, and anyway lighting and rendering is the hardest part.

I would love to see a Sho-Bud The Professional and a ole 55 Bigsby. Those would be cool from a modeling perspective, but way cool, from a shader persective.

About 10 years ago I took the train from Copenhaggen to Oslo in March. Sweden was lovely passing by all day long. I have been to Copenhaggen 4 times for audio engineering or video conventions. And just to visit on euro tours with friends.
