HiTo All You Pedal Pushers: My name is Joe Solomon, and I live in Newtown (Bucks County), Pa. I'm 71yrs. young, and I have been playing PSG for roughly, and I mean roughly, 20yrs. or so. The first axe I played was Fender D8 w/6 pedals. Then, with the help of a good friend of mine, George E. Sell, who is possibly the best PSG builder I've ever had the privilage of knowing, I built my own guitar---A D8 w/6 plus 4. which I play through a Session 500 and a Digitech Delay. Great sound. Thanks for inviting me to join your ranks, and I'll be sure to join in from time to time. Joe

Welcome Mr. Solomon,
There are many, many, professional artists here in this forum. Very nice and friendly and very eager to offer advice.
I am nobody. Nobody knows me and I think they like it that way, but still, this group of musicians have been very welcoming and haven't yet hit me with anything.
I know you will enjoy sharing the wit, wisdom, and humor of these great people.

Welcome Joe,
This forum is one of the best things to ever happen to the steel guitar. I too am nearing 71 (April 5th). And I only wish we had had something like this forum when I was learning to play. But thankful we at least have it now.
It gets a bit lively in here sometimes. So pick a spot, jump in and HANG on.
God bless you,
carl
