Stonewall Jackson - anyone?

Post by Dag Wolf »

I`m hired to play steel for Stonewall Saturday and was wondering what he has done lately and also if he has a steelplayer on a regular basis in the US.

The songs are classic country and the rehurse CD has Tommy White all over it. Sounds like the Opry staff band.

This should be fun.

Thanks,
Dag

Dag....Stonewall is one of the nice guys. I did a couple a shows with him once without any time to schedule a rehearsal and he made it easy! www.genejones.com

I have backed up Stonewall before. One of the easiest guys you will ever work with. Truly a legend and one of the greatest guys you will ever meet.

Well what can I say?
It turned out great! The audience loved Stonewall. Good country songs and a lot for me to do. I had a blast.

The Nashville number system charts that had been sent to us were great and to my suprice: All members of the band "Gledeskompaniet" read the number system charts like they been doing it for years! Good band and great guys!

This should happen more often. Image

Thanks,
Dag
