Oldtimers and historians-need some help!!

Does anyone know anything about a fellow from Mountain Home Arkansas-last name probably Dexter-who played steel locally for Jimmy Driftwood before Jimmy moved on to bigger and better things? He's my processors Grandfather, hoping someone knows something about him-and maybe even has some pictures. Family tree stuff..
