Proposed Forum Annual Awards

Post by Bill Llewellyn »

I propose we set up an annual award system for Forumites who, in their exchanges on the Forum:

1. Make the most posts
2. Make the fewest posts
3. Initiate the longest thread (most responses)
4. Write the funniest thread
5. Compose the longest single posting
6. Have most complicated sig line
7. Ask the best question
8. Ask the most uninteresting question (been there, done that!)
9. Start a thread that gets the most flamage
10. Offer the most original idea
11. Ask most repeated question (I've done that, too)
12. Give the most supportive responses
13. Use the most smiley faces
14. Give the best definition of "tone"
15. Totally avoid the term "tone"
16. Have the best spelling
17. Haave thu wurstest sppellng
18. Use proper punctuation
19. Use, the most! 'confusing" punc-tuation;;
20. Make the shortest post
21. Having their threads get moved between Forum areas the most times
22. Starting threads that stay right on topic
23. Starting threads which go wildly off topic

And finally, I'll take the award myself for:

24. Suggesting the dumbest idea.

(The only reason I haven't won the baddest spelling is that I have a spell checker. It always gets stuck on "copedent", though.) Image

Should we start nominating potential awardees? Bet that would start the flames going!

I think an award for CD of the year would be beneficial.

I nominate myself for awards 8, 9. 11, and 24. Not for anything I've posted in the past, but for what I'm about to write.

Are you ready read it?

Are you sure?

Positive?

I'm warning you. Do not scroll down unless you're prepared to silmultaniously be shocked, amazed and mostly bored.

OK, Here is the question that will definately qualify as the least interesting, most repeated, dumbest idea ever posted here.

Scroll down.
