Does anyone know Robert Summers?

Does anyone know, or has anyone heard of a steel player named Robert Summers? We lived next door to each other in Sapulpa, Oklahoma when we were kids (1947 to 1950). That's when I started taking the Oahu classes.

I ran into him one time in the early '60s when I was playing the Cal's Corral show in Southern California. He was playing with one of the out-of-town guest bands. He was playing a Fender 1000 at the time. I haven't seen or heard anything about him since. I just wondered if anyone knew him or had heard of him.
