Gary Carpenter and Band

Post by Henry Matthews »

Was in Dallas the week of the 11th for a school and went to Ft. Worth Tues night to hear Gary Carpenter and Reggie Roueffer play at a Little Club called the Finish Line. Just want to say that that was some of the best country music that I've heard and the whole band and the patrons were so nice and hospitibal to me. Gary is an awesome steel player and Reggie is awesome on the fiddle and both are such great guys and thanks Reggie for letting me sit in on the fiddle. Had a wonderful time and if any of you formites get a chance to hear this group, don't miss it. Henry

I was there a few weeks ago with Jim Smith, Danny Naccarato, and Ronnie Miller. Great band, great steel playing. Loved it.
