Sorry for the late post, but I wanted to make sure Corky was home to read what a lot of players think of him. We caught the Gene Watson Show with Corky on steel October 24th in Midland Texas. Folks if you want to hear real country music, don't miss this bunch if they're near you. If you're looking for flash and splash, you won't get it from Corky, but if you want to hear Tone to the Bone, here's the guy. His steel playing with this group, to me, is the epitome of a super sideman; beautiful fills and lead rides that knock your hat in the creek. Great job Corky and my hair is longer than yours and a hell of a lot grayer. Image
