It is my understanding Smiley just played his first jazz engagement on steel guitar. He played with none other than Deborah Brown, who has the reputation of a modern day Ella Fitzgerald.

Congratulations my dear friend on your accomplishment and open musical mind. I'm thrilled to know you continue to pursue your dreams and musical aspirations which such enthusiasm and determination!
