Who's with Dale now???

Dale Watson is going to be playing in Minneapolis on Oct. 26. That is about a 4 hour drive from me. I intend to go see him. Does anybody know who will be playing steel with him at Lee's Liquor Lounge? I sure wish I could have caught Dale's show when Ricky was with him but as usual I'm a day late...

Dave he's also playing in the Madison/Middleton area around the same time. Would that be closer to you?

Dave; I believe Dale is 3 piece'in this run...(guitar;bass;drums)....otherwise I would have done this trip with him; but only found out about it two days ago and couldn't adjust my schedule in time.
Sorry I can't make it but there will be other times. It's still a great show and go if you can.
There was a thread about this in the Music section; that was closed by authors request....but illuding to country bands that don't use the steel guitar live when it's on their CD.....is something I have to comment on....and will be in that section.
I hope you decide to support country music requardless of the instrumentation.

You might want to check to see if that show is still happening. The Cleveland show on the 30th has been cancelled.

I know I sure would have liked to nail the job playing Steel for Dale Watson. I sent an e-mail to him expressing an interest when Ricky quit, but never heard back from him. Guess I'll just have to settle for playing my local weekend gigs at the Piggy Pit, Senior Citizens Club Dance, American Legion Post #25, and Squirley's. Oh well, at least I have somewhere to play.
