I was in San Antone this weekend and was lucky enough to find the CD "Song of South Austin". 23 cuts and over one hour of the best music I've heard in ages. At least a dozen musicians, including my hero Johnny Bush and, of course, our very own Herb Steiner on steel. Herb cooks up the most delicious rides on both E9 and C6. Swing tunes, shuffles (Justin Trevino really shines), ballads, a great waltz. Natually, it includes Herb's "Nyquil Blues". Tons of fun music that will make you pack your bags, your gear, and maybe even your family, and move to South Austin.
Find it. Buy it. You'll love it.

Thanks so much Mark and Brother Lee. Y'all rock. On a couple-three cuts by Justin Trevino, Dickey Overby played steel as I was in recuperation from oral surgery.
The album, and the rest of Cornell's stuff, can be obtained at www.cornellhurdband.com . It's an interesting little site, fer sure.
