I haven't seen this come up, although it probably has, but how many people belong to the forum? What percentage of the members are actually steel players?

By "quorum" are you referring to Forum members? Image The main page shows the number of registered members, which currently sits at 3316.

My guess is that there are at least as many unregistered lurkers and probably 70-80% of the total are steel players.

We do have a quorum most days. Image

In reality, I think that many of the 3000+ members aren't active. We used to have open registration, and web surfers would create new accounts on a whim and just post once. Since we started charging $5, people think twice about it.
