...did your 3rd string make it through the night?

Y'all sounded great at the Healdsburg Bar & Grill. It must be fun playing with first rate musicians. Janine and had a good time dancing and between you and me, the best tune I heard that night was "I walk Downtown." Honest. Image

(Background: I was playing with Open Hearts, my main band these days. "I Walk Downtown" is a blues tune from my Quasar Steel Guitar CD.)

Yes, the .0115 survived another gig, Dave. These strings are about two months old. I'm going to change them this week. Image

Thanks for the compliments. The band will be doing 3 more of my tunes next season. It's hard to find time to rehearse in the summer. We tend to learn our new songs in the winter and then add them to the set list for the new year. At this point, we know the songs in our current set list forwards and backwards.

"First rate musicians" ... I have to pass that on. The band will be pleased to hear your review. Thanks for coming out to hear us.
