I was at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame show last weekend and had the good furtune of seeing(and hearing)Corky Owens with Gene Watson and Mike Cass with Tanya Tucker. I got to meet both and they were very nice and both played great. They both played through Mike's 60s Standel and sounded great! Almost makes me interested in one of the new Standel amps. They were first class gentlemen. I have very happy that I went to see the show.

Thanks Billy. I wish we could have talked more but Tanya had this big security thing going on for some reason. I'll promise you more time next time. I loved that Standel too. I tried to make it out the back door with it, but Mike tackled me before I made it. And your right. Mike played great. Loved the tone and technique. Thanks for the use of the amp Mike. Hope to work with you again soon. Corky.

yer welcome Corky it was my pleasure...& yeah, I dont know what the security thing was all about as i missed all that, but it was great to see you & Billy.
btw,...Hank Singer & I were checking our funds to see if we could bribe y'all into letting us play "Pick Me Up" with ol' Charlie
Everyone did a great job as usual & I was proud to be part of that show
I missed playing shuffles, but Tanya's show was sure fun to play. I'll get my chance with Ray Price on Friday, though
