Last Night I drove 60 miles to see Holly Dunn on the chance she might have a steel player. She did and it was forumite Mike Sigler. They opened with "Can't Stop Now", a newgrass revival tune, and Mike played more notes in that one song than most of us play in 5 gigs.
I could go on and on, but if you ever get a chance to hear Mike, do so. Besides being a monster player, he's a really nice guy. Oh, yea, Holly Dunn was pretty good too
Mike is a great picker. Holly found a jewel when she found Mike. He played with us, The Clark Family, for several years, and was the steeler at our Ohio Valley Opry show. We miss him, but he is having a good time picking with Holly's new band. He is a terrific studio musician too- just in case anyone wants to know that....

I just got back from South Dak. and Mo. today.. and i am beat.. Thanks for all the kind words, and Larry it was a great pleasure meeting you at the show.
Nick: as for Holly she is working with new earphone monitors now that seem to be helping alot on the live shows, as far as the opry, the monitors leave alot to be desired... I have played the opry 4 times with her now and have never heard a word she has sang. So i can guess what she must be hearing... The 3-P rule applys to the opry and that is
