Well, I went last night and seen Gene Watson. Both shows were great. If you get the chance go and seen them. Those Texas boys can pick. Got to talk to Corky before, between and after shows and a fine gentleman to talk. His playing and tone was great BUT as you know, they didn't have him coming through the mains enough. He showed me his new Carter and setup, nice guitar. Well I could go on and on, but enough. Try to catch Corky and talk to him, you'll be glad you did. Oh bye the way, Gene was great too LOL Got his new CD. It's good country.

Wayne, Gene's new CD is titled From the Heart. My favorites are Take me as I am, I never go around mirrows, and No trash in my trailer. All the selections are great but those I like the best. Buddy does great steel work and the other pickers do a great job too.

Are you going to be with Gene at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame this weekend. If so, I hope to see you there as I will be going also to spend some time with my friend Charlie Walker. One of the all time great.

Hey, Billy. Yes. I'll be with Gene. We are performing before Tanya. I don't know how long we will play, but come talk to me. I received your e-mail but I just got back home so I have'nt been on the computer much. Three weeks on the road drains you a little. See you Saturday. Corky.

Went and seen Gene around JULY 4 at Murray,KY.A FREEDOM FEST concert also with Tracy Lawerence, Joe Diffie, and Tracy Byrd. Had to ask who was playin steel with Gene. And it was CORKY. Needless to say I want have to be told again. I was impressed with his playin. Corky if you read this, you done a great job. I borrowed binoculars to watch the bands. My wife got mad because I wouldn't share, much, because I was watchin CORKY play that new CARTER. I would love to have went up and seen his set-up but too much security. But anyways he made that Carter sound good. And if Gene Watson and Corky are in this area again I will be going to see them.KENNY FOY LYNNVILLE,KY
