Question For Chas Smith

Post by Paul Graupp »

Chas; I was watching an old Robert Redford movie today, titled Brubaker. The music over the closing credits did not merit a credit of it's own but there was a steel guitar playing sidelines and/or counterpoint.
It was a very distinctive sound and matched the mood of the theme perfectly. Was it you ? Or perhaps Earnest Bovine ?? Or someone else if you happen to know......

Thanks, Paul

Paul-- it wasn't me, the composer was Lalo Schifrin (Mission Impossible) and the movie was 1980 so it could have been JD Maness, or Bovine, my skills were pretty minimal at that time.

The only Redford films I played on were "Up Close and Personal" and "The Horse Whisperer" for Thomas Newman.
