Pedal Steel Guitarist,Mr. Doyle Grisham, of the Jimmy Buffet Band, will be appearing in McComb, MS this Thursday, July 11! The show will be at the Days Inn, right on Interstate-55. Shows will be at 2pm and 7pm. It is in connection with a company promoting their securities business.
I am looking forward to it!

Hi Reggie,

I just listened to your clip in another post and it was fantastic.
If you get the chance to talk to Doyle tomorrow night tell him he owes me mail.

As has been stated earlier, Doyle is a great player,a wonderful person and like a brother to me since we were boys in Texas. Have a great time at the show. George

Reggie,

Have a great show, Tell Doyle I think he is great!

Those first 4 Buffett albums he played on hooked me on the steel, I still love to listen to his great playing on them.

Well, wish you all could have been there!
Imagine a stage set with the pedal steel in the center with a drummer on one side and a bass player on the other. Out front, the male vocalist/rhythm guitar in the middle, and 2 pretty girls on either side, on playing the fiddle! "The Bandits" with Doyle Grisham, played at 2pm at the Days Inn, in McComb, MS.

Doyle played an Emmons P/P, with E-66 PUs, a Microverb, and an older Session 400. All I can say is he had a tone to die for! He played with such professionalism! He also played some fine lead guitar and is one of the nicest guys in the business! I wish I'd had more time!

They did some originals along with hits that Doyle has played on with Randy Travis, Reba McEntire and Jimmy Buffet. Doyle is currently the road player for Jimmy Buffet, appearing last week on the Jay Leno show!
Doyle, thanks for a great show, centered around pedal steel, with all of the band members diggin' your playing!
