I've had the LP on my turntable for the past week, listening to "Why Ask Why". It is Weldon, right? The liner notes give him credit.
I saw Area Code 615 at the Fillmore West many years ago in San Francisco. It was a Sunday night, when they held a jam session at the end of the evening. I still remember Buddy Spicher trading country/jazz/fusion licks with Terry Haggerty (http://www.terryhaggerty.com) of the Sons of Champlin -- lookout -- not steel players). Another 60s moment.
