Looking for turnaround

Post by Joseph V. Sapp »

This was done by Hal Rugg and going back a few years,,,its fairly simple but be darn, I sure cant find how to play it. The song was done by K.D.Lang (down to my last cigarette).
its a nice toe tapper , not that hard, but the last few bars of the turnaround has me stumped !!! I've heard other songs with the same thing and it just baffles me on how its done...please help.

Joe - That song is on the K.D.Lang Shadowland album. I used to have it but don't anymore (loaned it out and never got it back) but you should be able to find it pretty easy. I hope this helps.

I have the album, but just cant figure out the run down that Hal uses. I can find a couple of the notes , but then I hit a road block when he does that little run down. its around the measure after the fiddle part. if thats any help?. Thanks.
