Wild and Wonderful 70's

Post by Greg Vincent »

Hi folks,

Here's an interesting contraption from a 70's Yes concert. A Pro I with a Fender dual 6 appendage?

Steve Howe was nuts --those crazy English folks! Image

looks like a lap/pedal combo. The pedal part being closer to Steve and the lap half further away. Or is it two completely different guitars on the same stand? Oh forget it, I'm confused!!!!

It also looks like he has metal straps to raise the pedal steel and pedals so he can play standing up. Image

Yeah Jim I've seen film of Steve playing pedals standing up! He's no Buddy Emmons but he makes some cool sounds on that old Sho~Bud.

Chris it seems to be a Sho~Bud PSG and a Fender Hawaiian strapped together on the same stand. I've been a Steve Howe fan for years but this is the first picture I have ever seen of this bizarre set-up!
