Play along CDs

Post by Bruce Griffin »

I'm looking for CDs with classic type steel numbers to play along with; that is, without the steel on them, kind of karoake for steel players. I think Billy Phelps recorded a series of those, and probably others, but I can't seem to link to them. Links? Thanks, Bruce.

Speaking of playing along, the albums I have
been chording behind include
Caught In The Webb
The Essental Carl Smith
and the last couple Johnny Bush albums.

About a year ago we had a discusson where Ricky Davis noted a lot of the great steel
fills etc were pre 1975. Trying to find material to play along with I can agree.
