Jerry;
I check the thread about Hal's wife, Vicky, nearly every day to see if there are any updates. Weldon posted there. He's listed as a new member. To the Forum, maybe. To steel guitar, not a chance. He's been one of my favorites for a very long time!
Weldon;
Don't be shy! Jump right in with both feet! (or hands..as you see fit.)

Welcome Weldon!
Do you remember "Grade A" with the Charlie McCoy Band? I spent a lot of time back there trying to figure that one out.Never did get it right.
Hope you enjoy the Forum.
Welcome Welden,
It's always nice to have someone with a backgroung like yours to keep us straight.
You must have some very interesting story's about the opry and sessions.
In Atlanta three years ago, I watched you as you watched Hal doing his set. It was as if you were just as impressed as the rest of us were with his playing. I'm sure we are all equally impressed to have both of you on the Forum with us. Glad to see ya !!

Welcom aboard Weldon,great to have another smooth picker on board,been a WM fan since
the night I heard you the first time.You were in Augusta Ga. with Bill Anderson and had just took delivery of your first ShoBud,sounded great then and still sound great.
Welcome Weldon! Your session work with the Hemphills and Rambos really helped to get me hooked on steel. Especially the Hemphill's "Workin'" album recorded around 1980. I wonder if you remember that recording.
Welcome aboard, Weldon, I'm Brett, a new steel player with cerebral palsy. You will find a lot of information about steel guitars and steel players on the forum. I'm a beginner on steel guitar, which is my all time favorite instrument. I love country music and the Grand Ole Opry. Brett Day, Emmons S-10
