little black line
Wiz, I have noticed on more than one occasion when I go to the forum's site,
the appearance of a small blinking horizontal black line on the screen. If I place the cursor directly on it, it will vanish but not always. I am using a new Acer laptop with Microsoft Windows XP and I have the latest Norton anti virus and firewall installed. Any idea what the little black line is?Thanks-Mike
[This message was edited by Mike Shefrin on 24 September 2006 at 09:10 AM.]

That is strange. A blinking horizontal line sounds like a custom text input cursor of sorts, or perhaps it is some feature from Acer that you don't know about. It doesn't seem to be a hyperlink since it disappears when you do a MouseOver. Does it happen on any other websites? Does it occur when reading Posts, or when you open a Reply text input field? What words does it appear under?

It just happened when I went to check my Yahoo mail. It doesnt appear over any words.
It's usually just out in the middle of the page.I havent noticed it on other websites. It usually goes away when I click on it but sometimes it doesnt. When clicking doesnt remove it, I do a Back click and then
when I return to the page it's gone.It doesnt seem to appear occur when reading Posts, or when opening a Reply text input field. Pretty bizzare.
[This message was edited by Mike Shefrin on 24 September 2006 at 09:32 AM.]

[This message was edited by Mike Shefrin on 24 September 2006 at 09:41 AM.]

Wiz, perhaps. Seems strange though since I
always see and know where my mouse pointer is.Actually, I don't use a mouse. I use the pad and clicker on the laptop to control the pointer.
[This message was edited by Mike Shefrin on 24 September 2006 at 11:09 AM.]
