CD Labels
I purchased an Epson Photo Stylus R-320 printer recently. I have not been able to print directly on a CD from the Epson print Cd software that came with the printer.Does anybody know or have a procedure for this? Thanks;Dennis

Will it print at all? The first question.
You have to lower the "Tray Holder" that the CD "carrier tray" fits into for CD's.
Also, you have to use CD's that say they are for Ink-Jet printing.
Also, make sure the Epson is selected as the printer for the Print CD Program.
I have an R300 that I've been using for almost two years. Never had a bit of trouble with it. The setup instructions that came with it were pretty clear on what to do.

Dennis;<SMALL>The Epson people tell me I have to create jpeg files, but after fifteen e-mails back and fourth they haven't told me how to do that. Thanks; Dennis</SMALL>
Open an image or label artwork in your image editing program and "Save as" a file with a .jpg extension. Photoshop, Paintshop Pro and a host of other graphics editors all offer the choice of saving an image you have opened in that program as a .jpg. You usually have options for what degree of quality to save the .jpg to. Anything above 40% should be ok for CD labels.

.jwl is a Roxio Label Creator file format. I notice I have that for all my Jewel Case files that I've saved.
I have the Roxio program but I ONLY use the Epson program for CD printing. I've had problems with Roxio (both V7 and V7.5) printing CD's. I like Roxio and use it for all my jewel case inserts, so it's not that I don't like Roxio.
