Found this on another forum. It works very well, when you want to check a post, goto "Tools" at the top of the browser and click ie spell. Very easy to use.

There have been quite a few requests for a spell checker in the forum, so I'm surprised this hasn't had much response. It works very well and is easy to use. Oh, I know, steelers are too smart to make spelling mistakes.

I just now installed an extension for Firefox called "RiteOfTongue" and it works real well. You swipe/highlite the word you are typing, right click and select "suggest" in the context menu and right there in the menu, in about a second, it looks up (online) the spelling and gives it to you. Pretty slick.
