Firefox 1.5.0.1 Released - Update now

Post by Wiz Feinberg »

Get the latest release of the Firefox browser here: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

You can perform an inplace upgrade and it will preserve all your bookmarks and settings. You will need to close and restart Firefox after upgrading.

If you are upgrading from a version prior to 1.5.0 some or all of your optional extensions may fail. If this happens ask Firefox to search for updates to those extensions and install them. Most extensions have been, or are being updated to install into the newer versions. The ones that are not being updated are not worthy of your continued attention, as the authors have abandoned them.

That memory leak was killing me. At one point my browser had 384MB of memory in use. Glad to hear they found it.
