MusicMatch,Audiograbber, CDex for ripping?

I've ripped songs from cd's using the above programs. I used the same 128kbps and they all seem rip at the same speed. I keep getting a nag to upgrade Musicmatch 9.0 Plus and then I can rip songs 40 times faster. I just wondered if anyone has Musicmatch Plus and if it is a great deal faster. Also if I did upgrade would it be to 9.0 Plus or 10.0 Plus. According to reviews the 10.0 isn't stable.
Of the three programs Audiograbber is the easiest to use. The Musicmatch Plus is $20.00 which would almost be worth it to get rid of the upgrade nag. My daughter uses it to put songs on her MP3 Player.

I have the registered Plus version of MusicMatch. But, I use AudioGrabber for ripping CD's. MusicMatch can be problematic at times and I would personally rather use a program that is designed specifically for a purpose rather than a "general" program. They usually do better at what they do.

I've got several CD ripping programs, e.g. the Creative Media Source that came with my SoundBlaster Audigy 2 card has one, Windows Media Player will rip, etc but the best one I have is the AudioGrabber.

I think the key word is "nag." I used Musicmatch for awhile, and they never leave you alone. I've never heard a peep out of Audio Grabber and it works great. I must admit, though, most of my ripping is done on Media Player.

I have Music Match 10 and Plus which I paid extra for. I didn't notice any improvement.

I got the plus because it said I could split cassettes tapes into separate tracks to make a CD. I couldn't get it to work.

And Yes, it tries to take over, so I uninstalled the whole thing. I got it for the recording aspect of it. I dont care to rip CD's.
Now , I need a good simple recording program without having to go to college again to learn it. It must be able to split tracks from my old cassettes....al

About a year ago, I got a simple easy to use downloadable program called "RipVinyl" for about $7.00. As long as there is 1 sec between tracks, it will split them so you can make a CD. You can also run this program manually to split tracks. Works for me.

I haven't tried Ripvinyl yet but if you do a search here on the forum you can see alot of people recommend it.
