question for apple powerbook users

When checking into a chat room where you can talk or play music ,how do you get the I tunes to play online? The only way I've been able to do it is to key the mike and let the sound pickup from the speakers.
Or is this something that only PCs are able to do?

I have the same problem. I can't get iTunes to output to the steel guitar chat room on my Mac. That's why I switched to my clunky old PC for chat room sessions.

I've got an old Dell lap top. I guess I will have to get it out of the closet and see if it still works.
