Converting BIAB display to number notation

I have had BIAB on my laptop for a year or more, and I could convert the display from regular chord notation to number notation simply by clicking on the roman numeral button at the upper right of the screen.

However, I recently installed BIAB from the same original BIAB CD onto my desktop computer, and the roman numeral button does not show up.

Anyone know how I can convert to number notation without the button -- or, better yet, how I can get that button to show up on my desktop computer?

Roy,
Not certain which version of BIAB you are using but on the older versions, unless you have your screen resolution set to 1024 x 768 you will not see the Roman Numeral II. If you have a newer version of BIAB just click on the double arrows on the far right of the tool bar that is just above your main window and that will bring up the rest of the icons that don't fit the screen resolution.

The screen resolution appears to have been the problem. Again, many thanks for your help.

I read through your entire web site and played the MP3's showing your progress. You're moving along well. I thought you took on some difficult ones for the relatively short time you've been playing: "Wonderful World" and "You Belong To Me" ain't that easy, McGee!!! (Incidentally, I played steel on the original recording of "You Belong To Me" with Pee Wee King back in the 50's on the RCA label -- no lead parts; just sustained chords in the background.) It's always been one of my favorites, and I put it on my last album as a steel instrumental.)

Thanks, George. We are visiting in Tennessee at the moment, but will be going back home to North Central Florida (where the hurricane didn't hit) in about two weeks. I plan to buy an Edirol SD-20 soon and get active on BIAB. I have already programmed in about 50 of my arrangements, and I want some decent sound for practice and self-edification purposes. I have only gotten into BIAB a little, so I'm sure I will be leaning on you in the future.

I see by your profile that you are an electrical engineer, so we have one more thing in common; I started out in college to become an EE, but switched to physics and earned my B.S. and M.S. at U. of Louisville in 1961.

I'll probably email you in a few weeks for the help you offered.
