I read somewhere that the more ways we have to dance, the more opportunities we have to step on our own feet...
Be suspicious, very suspicious. You don't have to be paranoid but people really are out to get ya...
[This message was edited by Ray Minich on 21 October 2005 at 01:34 PM.]

As I have said before, in case anybody missed it, all phishing or suspicious messages that claim to be from eBay or Paypal should be forwarded to spoof@ebay.com or spoof@paypal.com. Members of SpamCop.net can submit phishing emails via their SpamCop accounts and the proper authorities will be notified for you.
Bill Ford - The fraudulant cashiers check scam is not limited to ebay. Our members had to endure Nigerian scammers for over a year and a half, all of whom tried to pull overpayment/refund to Nigeria kited check scams. Thanks to input from recipients of such scams these criminals are being blocked from accessing the SGF.
If anybody on the Forum does receive a new scam along these lines, related to goods for sale at the SGF, I would appreciate your forwarding them to me as attachments, or copy and paste the email source headers into an email to me. I don't need the message text, just the headers. On the other hand, if I receive the entire message intact I can submit it to SpamCop, for reporting to the upstream relays and the scammer's ISP.
