Virus on "Roughstock"
One of my favorite places to get lyrics is the "Cowpie Roughstock site", but I'm suspicious they have a virus going on - anyone else experienced it???
Where is another good site for lyrics and chords?
thanx........Ron

Ron, I did run onto some viruses when I accessed a site for song lyrics. That was about a year ago and I don't remember which site it was.

When browsing unknown, untrustworthy websites I always use Mozilla Firefox. Most of the spyware and popup adware that gets installed behind your back is a result of browsing with a not-locked-down Internet Explorer browser. Sleazy websites rely upon the fact that most visitors are using Internet Explorer and that they don't have a clue about locking it down against surrepticious software installs.
FireFox browser does not use ActiveX technology, nor does it allow unchallenged software installations. I highly recommend that anybody who wants to browse such sleazy businesses as the one mentioned above, do so using Firefox, not Internet Explorer.
In fact, I only use Internet Explorer for two things: 1; for testing website designs, and 2; for using Windows Update, which will not run on any other browser. Even though I don't browse the web with IE, I still have it locked down to prevent other programs that use the IE rendering engine from getting exploited. This included Outlook Express and Symantec's Norton Anti Virus products.

Actually, you can do it using any Mozilla-based browser (or even Opera) and this plug-in.... for using Windows Update, which will not run on any other browser.
