I became very frustrated that I could not run the House eJay program I purchase last week. After installing I got an illegal error code, page fault in Kernal 32.dll "If error persists contact vendor". I did and of course haven't heard back yet. So, I first defraged my HD. Still nothing changed. Then I did a google search on the error message. Didn't get much helpful info reading the pages. I saw an ad at the top of the page for PC Rescue free scan offer. I went to healthycomputerclub.com and downloaded the program. Ran a scan and found 240 errors, most of which were in my registry. You need to buy the product to fix them. Just did tonight. After it said "all errors fixed" I also used the optimize feature to shut off various programs at start-up(very nice touch). Would you believe I can now run that program. It's UNbelievable the quality of the PC Rescue program. It is a true necessity and I'm so glad I bought it.
Now, with regards to the eJay music making program: It's quite fun, has some very genre quality samples. However, the sound quality is like a portatone keyboard, which is a shame. I'm going to try loading in my own samples and waves to see if the sound quality improves. If not it is still a lot of fun for $29 ($19 at JRMusic). I have never used a software sequencer so it's a good introduction to the process.
