Thanks to Joey Ace

Post by b0b »

Joey Ace has been moderator of the section of the Forum for quite a while. He also moderates several other sections. When I created the new Jobs section, Joey stepped up to the plate to moderate it as well.

There aren't too many people that I'm willing to trust with this level of responsibility. Through the years, Joey has proved himself to be the kind of moderator that everyone respects. I'm proud to have him on board.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to publicly thank him for his dedication and for all of the hours he puts in to help keep this place running smoothly.

I'm posting this in 'Computers' because he's handed this section off to another (Wiz Feinberg), and some sort of recognition is long overdue here.

Image Joey, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Image

Thanks, Joey. I enjoy, respect and benefit from the work you've put in both moderating and contributing information all over the forum.

I watched Joey be personally attacked (in his role as moderator) in an atrocious bigoted manner that I wouldn't accept on the street level, let alone in a supposedly civilized place like this. I lost any shred of respect for the perpetrator and I abandoned any thoughts of accepting other peoples' urgings to me that this dude wasn't in fact deeply evil and malicious.
And yet Joey essentially turned the other cheek and rolled with it. My respects, man.

Joey earned my respect for him. I don't know how to pay a higher compliment other than he is fair and honest.

I've admired the straight-shooting, no-nonsense way Joey has handled issues here requiring his intervention.

I agree. We're fortunate to have Joey at the wheel.
