MySQL Help

Post by b0b »

I installed MySQL to play with it when I built the server. I fooled with it a bit and then forgot about it.

Now that I want to use it in earnest, I can't remember the root password. Does anyone know how to recover the root password in MySQL? I need it.

I'm running FreeBSD (Unix). I don't want to have to reinstall MySQL, as it seems to be working with Apache just fine.
