Username/Password Problem

Post by Chip Fossa »

When I go to TablEdit the flag prompt for my username/password appears.

I have to keep typing them in. I've checked
the box to REMEMBER, but it doesn't remember.

I've contacted TE, and they said the problem is not with TE, but maybe IE.

I've encountered this issue in the past, but can't recall how to remedy it. I tried a Forum search, but got nowhere.

Can someone straighten me out, here.

Thanks all,

Chip

"Remember" means the site stores a cookie on your computer. IE must be set to allow cookies. I think in IE it's Edit/Internet Options. You can click to allow, refuse, or notify when a cookie comes in. It's also possible that you have one of the many programs that delete cookies.

Thanks Vern...I've been thru what your sayin' a thousand times,

So it's still back to hi, ho, the dario.

I have Adaware and Spybot and Zone Alarm.

You are right about the cookies. After a check with Adaware, I used to remove all the cookies. But I found that if I left the SGF as is , I wouldn't have to type in my name/password again.

But TE isn't happening.

So simple; so stupid
