I don`t know whats happend to my computer but now iv got problems with keyboard.The problem is some of the keys are not doing what they used to,i will try and explain the best i can,the only way i can get my @ when i send emails is to hold the shift key and the no 2key,also i have to hold the shift key and no 3key to get the #.there are other keys that are not doing what they should be doing.I have tried another keyboard but it`s still the same and it is driving me nuts.HELP!!!

Jimmy, that sounds normal. On most computer keyboards, @ is obtained by shift + 2, # is obtained by shift + 3, etc., down the number row. I think the question is why it was working differently before. How were you getting @ and # before?

This is the way my keyboard always works. It is a qwerty keyboard. I think I remember seeing a computer setting asking what keyboard configuration you would like to use. It asks when you load your o.s.

Well, there you go. Somehow your keyboard setup has been changed to the US version.

Try going to the "Regional and Language" icon in Control Panel, and see what you can do there, to correct the problem.
