Basil, I believe you want The Photo Doctor (aka Mike Ihde, steel guitarist and guitar faculty at Berklee College of Music). He does great work. You can see samples of his photo restorations at http://www.thephotodoctor.org
[This message was edited by Jim Cohen on 14 March 2005 at 05:31 PM.]

Wow!
Mike's work is incredible!!! Especially for the unbelievably low prices he quotes on that site.

Thanks Jimbeaux for pointing out that link.

Basil, I could fix your photo for you,but Mike's quality is very high, and way inexpensive It is a time consuming job, and you have to know how to draw. Contact me if he can't do it.JP

Basil,
Did you get the email I sent, with the picture attached?

If not, here's a copy...not as good as Mike's work, but maybe this will help out.

Bill,
I use Iphoto4. It's one of the easiest I've used. It came with a Mustek Scanner I bought a long time ago.

Thanks Jim!

Bill, that's neat. Looks like you do good work with images yourself.

Again.. Thanks to all who helped...a very "Toothy" me at 16 years old

As for the guitar, I still have it.. It's a 1960 and one of only FIVE Golden accoustics ever made..
It's hiding in the background in this pic..
